post Lazy Creek Wood Drying Kiln

June 18th, 2008

Dave Kimball, owner/operator of the Nyle L200 Dehumidification, launched the company’s new web site.  The wood drying kiln is located in the Mount Ida, Arkansas area in Montgomery County.  The lumber drying service has been in operation for over 5 years.  Up to 2,000 BF of lumber can be dryed in the kiln in a single load.  A custom lumber drying service is almost impossible to find.  Most of the lumber kilns are owned by large companies and will not dry lumber for smaller operators.

I found that there were others, like myself, that had taken hardwood trees down, had them sawed and now needed someone to dry it.  And from there the wood kiln business grew.  Not big by most standards, but for the most part the kiln is kept running.  There is always a trailer parked somewhere needing to be unloaded or loaded back with dry lumber.

  1. Great custom service.

Well worth the cost of the drying as I cut Red Oak trees on my building lot. I now have about 1,500 BF of oak ready to be used on my projects.
